About Us

A TRADITION OF EXCELLENCE IN PERFORMANCE AND QUALlTY

Julius C. Busch / 1907-1942     Ferry Street / 1907-1952

In 1907, master Machinist Julius C. Busch founded the firm bearing his name to provide machine shop service.  Located in Walker's Point, Milwaukee's early industrial center, Busch developed close working relationships with pioneer industrialists like Alonzo Pauling, Henry Harnischfeger, Ed Allis, Ole Evinrude and candymaker George Ziegler.  He enjoyed an especially close friendship with Evinrude, renting him space in his shop where Evinrude designed and developed the original outboard marine engine.  Busch assisted Evinrude with the manufacture of parts and the assembly and promotion of his wonderful invention.  Today, of course, OMC-Evinrude is a world leader in outboard marine engines.
Barclay Street / 1953-1974
From the steam and belt driven machinery of the early 1900's, the Company progressed slowly but steadily, updating machinery embracing new technology and adopting new techniques.  During this progress, the firm never lost sight of the strong work ethics and honest values that characterized its founder and his fellow pioneer industrialists.

Arthur G. Moerschel / 1942-1969
Today in its 140,000 sq. ft. spacious modern facility, the Company has physically positioned itself for the 21st century.  It relentlessly pursues a corporate policy of continuous improvement:  updating machinery, expanding services, emphasizing sound work ethics and honest values, and striving for one standard of performance and quality... EXCELLENCE!
Douglas Avenue / 1974-1989
In 1992, the Company streamlined its corporate identity from J. C. Busch Co., Inc. to BUSCH PRECISION INC. emphasizing the nature of its services and products.  With a work force made up of skilled machinists, technicians, and support personnel, BUSCH PRECISION provides a most comprehensive range of machining and related services for the manufacture and/or repair of any type of machinery component, subcontract machining, on-site machining, repairs and maintenance, as well as complete machine rebuilding.
